How is B-stock made at AUER Packaging?

The injection moulding process has a number of strengths: Large amounts of absolutely identical products can be produced in a relatively short amount of time. Once the machine has been set up, the costs per unit fall as the number of produced parts rises. The process also produces very little waste material. If the colour of the product is changed, the first new units can still be produced with the left-over amount of the previous colour. In technical terms, the products are flawless and fully functional. The “colourful characters” that are produced following the colour switch are known as B-stock at AUER Packaging.

Is B stock low priced?

We currently provide a 20% discount on our B-stock. Because we cannot meet any special request for colours with them, these products appeal to companies that do not use colour codes for their packaging and transport solutions.
