The bag-in-box system made by AUER Packaging
What are the strengths and features of bag-in-box containers?
The bag-in-box system made by AUER Packaging is a reusable transport system for liquids. It consists of a liner bag – that can securely hold the liquid or substance – and a stable, foldable plastic container with a clip-on lid that securely encloses the membrane. Thanks to its collapsible design, the new type of intermediate bulk container offers a significant cost edge over conventional systems. The bag-in-box system provides maximum security and hygiene. By using a bag-in-box system, your company can significantly cut its costs per trip. The foldable and stackable system will facilitate optimal space usage, both in your warehouse and during transports. Skids attached to the base body will ensure smooth forklift and pallet truck handling. The design of the bag-in-box system is extremely tough. The new type of IBC is very hygienic thanks to its smooth surface and rounded edges. The use of disposable liners makes cleaning a snap.
How does the bag-in-box system work?
Users love the bag-in-box system because it is easy to fill and empty. It is also a breeze to transport. A disposable liner bag is used in the collapsible large container and filled with a liquid. After being used and emptied, the liner bag can be removed. The container itself is then folded together and transported back to its home base where a clean liner can be installed it. If you prefer a non-collapsible IBC that comes without liner design, you can draw on our classic
IBC with metal frame, a product that has proven itself thousands of times. All bag-in-box IBCs are delivered with lids – but the liners are sold separately. Liners with a volume of 500 litres or 1,000 litres can be used in the IBCs made by AUER Packaging. The liner bag come in a standard version that is made of food-safe material and an aseptic model. The liner used in the aseptic model is exposed to gamma radiation and then is individually packed into a sterile bag. Aseptic liners are used in such areas as the pharmaceutical industry or for the purpose of transporting and storing apple juice and wine. Both IBC liners are equipped with the widest varieties of inlets and outlet valves.
