Adapters with seals for IBC pipe connections

Intermediate bulk containers, or IBCs, are used to store and transport all types of liquids. AUER Packaging has redefined this container class with its bag-in-box system. Because individual industries and products place a wide range of requirements on pipe types, adapters are needed on occasion to create the connection between a bag-in-box IBC and your system.

Let it flow: IBC adapters

No matter whether you are talking about milk, fish oil or sulphuric acid, every liquid transport good has special features that require a different form of pipe, both in terms of its material composition and diameter. The liner membranes of the bag-in-box system can be equipped with the widest range of inlets and outlet valves. You will not need an adapter if you have just one usage area and the appropriate connection for it. But you will need an adapter if several different filling systems will be used. We offer six different models that facilitate transfers from 2” S60 external thread or 2” internal thread to a number of established pipe sizes. If you want to control or interrupt the flow of liquid, you can also purchase a butterfly valve from us. All IBC adapters and the valve are also delivered with the necessary seals.
