Uses of the foldable small load container boxes made by AUER Packaging

Foldable KLT boxes are members of the product family of foldable small load container boxes. The model with a ribbed base conforms with VDA-4500, a standard of the German Association of the Automotive Industry. The system of foldable KLT boxes was developed by the automotive association to optimise the logistics chain among automakers, the supplier industry and service providers. In addition to standardised design features, the folding mechanism of the KLT boxes helps to streamline transport, warehousing and conveying technology. When empty, foldable KLT boxes can be collapsed in a few short steps and transported and stored in a space-saving manner.

Models and accessories for foldable KLT boxes

A number of models of foldable KLT boxes are available in the online shop. The collapsible small load container boxes with a ribbed base conform with VDA-4500 and meet the requirements of the norm. AUER Packaging also offers foldable KLT boxes with smooth bottoms. The BMW model of the carrier is equipped with a ribbed base and is available only in the colour signal violet. Neither the foldable KLT container with smooth bottoms nor the BMW KLT container conforms with VDA-4500 because of their special features. The outer dimensions of the foldable KLT boxes are each 60x40x28cm.
